Lee Partners Law was founded by brothers David and Michael Lee, two seasoned attorneys who spent over 25 years combined defending insurance companies in California workers’ compensation cases. Today, they use that insider experience to fight for the rights of injured workers across Los Angeles, Orange County, the Inland Empire, and beyond.
As Certified Specialists in Workers’ Compensation Law—a distinction awarded to only a small percentage of attorneys in California—David and Michael bring a rare level of expertise and insight to every case. They know how insurance companies operate and use that knowledge to maximize settlements, expedite medical treatment, and secure every benefit their clients deserve.
David A. Lee
With over 15 years of experience in workers’ compensation litigation, David A. Lee is known for his aggressive, strategic approach. As a former partner at one of California’s top insurance defense firms, David handled complex cases for major corporations. He brings exceptional skill in cross-examining medical experts, conducting detailed depositions, and navigating high-stakes negotiations.
Now representing injured workers, David fights to ensure clients receive proper medical care, lost wage compensation, and permanent disability benefits. His goal is simple: make sure every client walks away with the maximum settlement they’re entitled to under the law.
When he’s not advocating for clients, David enjoys running marathons and spending time at Disneyland with his kids. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from Pitzer College and earned his J.D. from Pepperdine University School of Law.
Michael E. Lee
Michael E. Lee brings more than a decade of focused experience in California workers’ compensation law. Having spent years on the defense side, he’s well-versed in how insurance carriers attempt to delay, deny, and reduce legitimate injury claims. Michael uses that knowledge to anticipate their tactics and beat them at their own game.
His clients benefit from his relentless advocacy, clear communication, and proven ability to win difficult cases. Whether through aggressive negotiation or litigation, Michael is committed to getting injured workers the medical treatment and financial recovery they need to heal and move forward.
Outside the courtroom, Michael stays active with basketball, swimming, and Barry’s Bootcamp. He is a graduate of Claremont McKenna College and earned his law degree from Loyola Law School. Michael also enjoys going to the movies with his wife.
